Tears of My Staff (Still Warm) Mug

Some managers run on coffee. You run on the Tears of My Staff (Still Warm).

For the supervisor who has explained it in the meeting, followed up by email, and attached the instructions—only to hear, “Nobody told me.”

This mug belongs on the desk of someone who knows that “a quick question” is rarely quick and “almost finished” requires a follow-up question.

Bring it to the staff meeting. Take a slow sip when someone asks for an extension on something they haven’t started.

The expectations were reasonable. The reactions were a choice.
